Motorola Linked Capacity Plus

←  See all system solutions

Linked Capacity Plus from Motorola allows two Capacity Plus systems to be linked over a local IP network or the internet, to give coverage across a large area or to enable communication between two sites many miles apart.

In the example on the left, two repeater sites are linked via the internet. Any calls received on Site A are passed over the internet connection to site B, and then repeated to all radios connected to that site. This ensures wide area coverage over a densely populated area such as a city.

As Linked Capacity Plus is based on Motorola’s successful Capacity Plus trunking system, text messaging, individual calling and GPS tracking are all supported.

For more information on Linked Capacity Plus, call the team today.

In this example, the two radio sites are linked via a point-to-point microwave connection. One is attached to a tall building, whilst another site is attached to an NRB mobile mast, giving wide area coverage in remote, isolated environments.
